Videos of Brigitte
So it is sad to say but we don't have much family around and harldy anyone gets to see her expect my parents so here are some videos of our little munchkin! We just had her 15 month check up and she jumped from the 4th percentile in weight to the 7th! YAY! She still isn't 20 pounds yet! lol Only 19.4! She is getting tall though 30 inches and is now in the 50th percentile!
My baby can shake it! This is her very favorite song. She even dances when she watches this video. I love to put it on when she is crying because she can't help buy dance so she is crying and dancing at the same time!
This video is really funny to us because Zoey does NOT like Brigitte! You can't see it in the video but she was shaking so bad! Dang dog! Grace loves Brigitte though so I guess 1 out of 2 dogs isn't bad!
I just love to listen to her talk. She blabs like I can understand her! Oh how I wish I knew what she was thinking! Then again maybe not.
House Update!
So the house is coming along. We are set to be completed in mid January! We were hoping for Christmas but not going to happen...
Master Bathroom. I am standing where cabinets will be. The door to the far left is our walk in closet, the next door is the "toilet room", and the next one is the walk in shower with what will become 2 glass windows so we don't feel like we are trapped in there!
Our red kitchen! I am so excited this is probably what I am most excited for. To the far right is where we will have our kitchen table and where Gabriel is standing is somewhat dead space between the kitchen, dining, and living room.
My laundry room that I can actually walk in!
Pantry
Brigitte's purple walls
Brigitte's pink walls! We had to re-paint her room already! lol I had them paint all four walls pink. It is a very bright pink and it was glowing into the hall way!

Trick Or Treat
Brigitte's first "real" Halloween! We had so much fun. We did go trick or treating to a few houses! We just stayed in South Hutch and actually got a lot of candy for the few houses we did go to. She was pretty funny though. They would hold the bowl for her to pick a piece and every time she would go for the Snickers! It wasn't like Snickers was the only candy in there either. She would also get upset if they didn't give her two pieces. A girl has to have one for both hands! HELLLO!!!
I did dress up and didn't wear it very long. I was really surprised only kids knew that I was an Iphone. We stopped at a friends house first and she had trick or treaters and one said "Look mom, an Iphone!" You would think with so many people wanting Iphones or having one would know what a homemade one looks like! HA

Time Out For Women
So I had an amazing weekend with my mom! We were able to go to Time Out for Women in Kansas City this past weekend. Girl's weekend with women from my old ward and my first time being away from Brigitte more than 10 hours! We went both nights and heard some AMAZING and inspiring speakers! My favorite speakers were probably Jason Wright and Anthony Sweat. Jason taught me I need to "open my eyes and slow down" and Anthony taught me "to be fair-don't compare!" Which is something I have been doing a lot of with building this new house! Mariama Kallon was there with her amazing story of coming from Africa. Emily Watts was just so funny and spoke about raising children! Jericho Road was there on Saturday. The first time I saw them they were cute return missionaries and now they are married (3 of the 4 anyway), have children, and not so cute! lol I first saw them when I was about 12 I think. They were pretty good. It is funny how when you get four younger men up there singing and dancing women just go nuts! I am so grateful that my mom was able to come with me to this. She wasn't feeling well right before it and wasn't going to come but she sucked it up and came! Look at how cute she is! She wasn't feeling to hot when we took this picture but she looks 10 times better than I do! Love you mom!

Brigitte Learning To Do Laundry
So at 13 months Brigitte has a fascination with our laundry mainly. Mainly because daddy has his tool box in there but she discovered the dryer today and was having fun helping mommy! She is such a hard working baby!

Our New Home
I am getting so excited for our new house! I still can't believe we are building! They put up our roof trusses last week so it is really starting to look like a house. Everything on the main level is framed so I can now see how big everything is and start designing! I don't understand any measurements on paper.
The crane moving the truss from the driveway to the other side of the house.
Matt locking it into place
The house from the road that you can't really see in this picture. You can see the crane and get an idea though.

Our Little Dolphin Turned One
One year sure has flown by! Brigitte turned one September 10th. We celebrated the night before so we could all enjoy the fair on Saturday. We just had a small little BBQ at a park. Grandma and Grandpa Sullins, Uncle Jeremy, GG, Grandpa Walt, and the McKinney's celebrated with us!
The birthday girl!

The Challeges of a Mother!
So I have been trying to get Gabriel to understand it is a little hard to do things when Brig is awake... Now he can somewhat understand what I am talking about. I guess on the bright side she is already wanting to help mommy! So I shouldn't complain too much. Her favorite chore is laundry. She loves unfolding all the clothes that mommy just folded!
Gabriel's Triahlon
Gabriel competed in his first triathlon Aug. 13th. I was really nervous for him because he really didn't have much time to train. He surprised me though! He did great! He finished in 1 hour 14 minutes. I was really surprised when he didn't pass out when he crossed the finish line. He had to pace a little but that was it! He is now trying to get me to do it with him next year.... HA I told him maybe I would do the bike and he could swim and run!
Sportin' his number! Go 52!
Swimming the 400 meters
10.2 mile bike ride
And the 5K! Almost to the finish line.
Gabriel pacing just after crossing the finish line.

Seattle
After our wonderful trip to Hawaii we couldn't just go home! Gabriel had a show to go to in Seattle. So instead of me flying home with the baby I went with him. This actually helped a lot! That flight home would have been in the middle of the night and this stop also help Brigitte adjust to the time zones.
Luckily we stayed downtown too so Brigitte and I could go do somethings! Seattle is a really fun place but there are some REALLY strange people there!
Brigitte was a VERY big fan of the tram! I had to take her out of the stoller so she could watch the world go by! This is like a 1 minute 30 second ride but she loved every second!
The I believe 9 story Macy's. With the top floor being an acting studio.
Teenagers in Seattle don't mow lawns for cash in the summer they sing in front of the first Starbuck's . These kids were making bank! There were even a couple $10 bills in there. They were singing Wonderwall and people were singing with them. I mean who doesn't know that song?
Yes, those flowers are only $20! It was HUGE!!! If we lived in Seattle Gabriel would have to come home with flowers all the time!
This was Brigitte's favorite band. We had to stop and watch them twice!
The famous flying fish market. I never had my camera ready when they would throw the fish. It isn't a small fish either!
Space Needle
So this girl is semi-famous I guess. As you can see she is in the Street to Stage contest by Sprint. She is now in the top 4. Funny thing though... if you go to the contest page and watch her video I was there the same day they filmed her. I was trying to stay out of the camera guy's way. I now see I should have gotten in his way! lol
Brigitte makes this face every time with the lemon but she always wants more! Makes us laugh every time!
This dog was outside QFC aka Dillon's. It was funny to see a huge grocery store right in the middle of downtown that you have to take an elevator to get into. Anyway... he was outside waiting for his master with toys but wanted nothing to do with them. Brigitte really wanted to play with him of course!

Hawaii Trip!!!
We got to spend 8 wonderful days in Hawaii with my grandma and grandpa. They were so wonderful. We of course took Brigitte but still got to go do things without her because they were so thrilled to babysit! We had a very long travel time there. After 3 flights and 15 hours later we finally made it to the beautiful island.
Brigitte just couldn't handle sitting! She had to play and make friends.
We finally made it! She was so excited.
Our first day on the island:
The famous swinging bridge... kind of freaky to walk on but still fun!
GG and Brigitte at the top of the beautiful canyon
The amazing view! At 4200ft above sea level... you were eye level with the clouds.
Hiking to the 2nd largest waterfall in the world!
Coolest tree ever! A walking tree! This tree can actually "re-root." It can "walk" up to 15-20 feet from where it started.
Our first day on the island:
Gabriel sniffing a plant that Paul Mitchell uses in his hair products.
Brigitte's first swim in the ocean
Playing in the sand with daddy
Our sand monster baby!
Finally washed and clean... She had sand EVERYWHERE!
Family photo at the luau
She was born to hula!
Smiling on our zip line adventure
