Brigitte acting like our dogs!

Our poor daughter needs more friends to play with. Her friends that she is learning from are our dogs! She loves our dogs who don't love her too much. They are very gently when they do allow her to play with them. She mainly just wants to play with the dog tags but also loves to watch them. Well apparently she has been watching them after I am done cooking. Sometimes when I don't want to soak a dish I let the dogs "pre wash" the dish. Well this is what Brigitte has learned! Too funny!

Our Newest Neighbor

We are pround new owners of 2 acres of land! We are super excited.We are hoping to start building our new house within the next 2 weeks! Well a few weekends ago we were out at the land and as we left there was a deer on the side of the road. Of course as we drove by she ran across the street but we noticed that she didn't go too far as they normally do. As we look back we see her fawn! She had to be brand new. She was walking with her mother until she saw us. The fawn lost her footing and just fell and was probably so scared. So I jumped out really quick (because I had never seen a fawn this close), took a picture, and got back in the car. I felt bad afterwards. Gabriel was worried about the fawn all day long. So we hope she is okay and we didn't scare the mother too bad!

I really hope we didn't scare them too much but this is how close I got... no zoom on the camera at all!
