Violet's First Bike Ride

We are finally getting some nice weather! Goodness winter just didn't want to go away once it got her. It was late arriving so I guess it thought it needed to make spring late too! 

Gabriel got me a bike for my birthday, so we now can go on family bike rides! Happy days. Violet didn't know what was going on and was scared when I strapped her in. Brigitte being the great big sister she is told her "shhh it's fun!" 

Brigitte does not like have the cover down in front of her. She would rather have the wind blowing on her and be cold before putting that thing down. Poor Violet had to be wrapped in a blanket and still probably got cold.

Music In Her Future?

As I was putting away the bassinet (since Violet is officially in her own room!!!) Brigitte decided she was going to play with some of the poles from it. I was thinking she was going to want me to sword fight her or something. All of a sudden I hear her humming...I turn around to find her doing this...

 I did not show her how to do this! She did it all on her own. I am not even sure how she knows about a violin!!! I was amazed and laughing all at the same time because I didn't show her how to do that and she was humming while playing her pretend violin! 

She loves to play the piano's a church and I thought for sure we would have a piano player in the near future but maybe we should start with the violin!

Because she knows all the words to both songs but you only get a selection of them. Every time we sing one we have to sing them together. Never fails!
