So this year I decided that I would let the girls pick out their own costumes. Brigitte had a few ideas and wanted to be about 4 different things and of course changed you mind several times during one day. So the solution to that was to go online and I copied a bunch of different costumes on a word document and she picked the one she liked. She really wanted to be a horse but we couldn't have a decent priced costume and then she thought of a unicorn. I had found two different costumes and she chose this one because of its tail.
When I asked Violet what she wanted to be all she would say is Frozen! Well I knew everyone and their sister were going to be the princesses and I wanted warm costumes for them. I didn't want to pay a bunch of money on a costume that would be covered up by a coat. And wouldn't you know it...it was HOT Halloween night! So we did Olaf for Violet and she still giggles with delight every time she sees it. Because she has a small little head the hat part did not fit her. It went completely over her face. We put some polyfil in it and it helped but then it became "heavy" for her and she wouldn't keep it on very long!
