New Adventures

Apparently I didn't take many pictures in May but we did get to do a couple new things! Brigitte had her first visit to the dentist and we made some new friends!

Brigitte was a little nervous about the dentist but they did really good to keep her calm and explained everything. She did have two cavities and took it like a champ to fix them! No crying involved! She now even wants to be a dentist when she grows up. She thinks because mommy watched the whole time I will be her assistant too!

Just down the road from us live this horse and donkey. I have no idea how long they have been there but I just noticed them. I told them once we saw the horses next to the gate we would stop and see if they were friendly! Of course Brigitte always watched as we passed and finally the day came.

Only the donkey was up by the gate but I told her that I would go see if it was friendly before I got everyone out of the car. Well sure enough they were friendly and the second the horse saw me out of the car she came up to the gate too! The girls were delighted! We have since then stopped a few times and we don't even have to have them by the gate. You just get out of the car and them come to you!

April

Violet has always been our little girly girl! She was being very quiet and next thing I knew she came out asking how pretty she was!? We were laughing pretty hard and she thought she was in trouble for getting into grandma's makeup...that is why she looks so scared!
Daddy was on yet another business trip this month. We got to have a slumber party in mommy's bed and got to take a visit to grandma's house!

They don't sleep that great in mommy's bed so this doesn't happen often!

Just in case in rained inside she took her umbrella to sleep with her!

They fun bed they get to sleep in while visiting grandma and grandpa.

And I got to spend a day with my not so little sister! Can't believe your in high school now!!!
Brigitte got to show off her singing skills she has been learning in preschool! Singing she usually says is her favorite! They had a spring concert and got to sing about 5 songs!

San Diego

We decided to take our "summer vacation" a little early this year. We went the end of April because I was afraid I would be fat and miserable by the time summer came around. By going in April I was hardly showing and was still able to move (ha) so it worked out perfect!

We always take a before shot just in case they get lost and I know exactly what they were wearing!
We found a really neat children's museum. They girls loved it! They had plenty for them to do! They had a grocery store, dress up clothes, a ship, bubbles, water tables, and fun things just to create. The girls love watching the videos of themselves!

Then we were on to Lego Land! Now if you ask Gabriel this place was better than Disneyland. I beg to differ! However this park was perfect for the girls! I wouldn't take any kids over the age of 10 unless they are really into legos. The girls are just getting into Legos so it was perfect!

One of Brigitte's favorite rides of course! Violet was very upset she was not old enough to ride this one!

The girls love this show on Netflix and we just missed the opening of their new addition by a month. But at least we got to take a picture with the "best friends forever" girls as they call them.
One of my favorite pictures. They have a huge display of different cities. This one is New Orleans and I was surprised how fasinated she was with each of them!
Finally getting to play with the legos at the end of the aquarium tour....not really worth the extra money in my opinion if you ever go!

The girls both got to ride their first roller coster and loved it! They first one was a little to big for our thrill seeker Violet and she was very upset. Luckily we found this one that she could ride on and she loved it! She rode it 3 times in a row actually!

We went to Historic Downtown San Diego. We got to go to the church's little history site there and learn about the gold mining they did! They girls loved the funny talking picture frames!

At dinner time Violet got to hear one of her favorite songs "La Bama" from the Mariachi Band.
We got to go to the world famous San Diego Zoo...

Gabriel and I got to get away one night and attend the temple. Brigitte called it the castle temple!

Sadly the very last day of vacation I got really sick. I don't remember the last time I was this sick. I have no idea what it was either. Not sure if it was the baby or something I ate but it was not fun. So I laid in bed watching a marathon of Criminal Minds and daddy took the girls swimming to all the different pools at the resort. Good thing we didn't have anything planned for that day!

GG got me flowers. It was sad that we had to leave them! I hope one of the maids took them or left them for the next guest to enjoy!
Overall I would have to say this was one of the best vacations we have ever taken! It was so relaxed and we go to do a lot of fun stuff! Thank's GG for inviting us!

We Added A Little Blue!

I really can't believe that we waited the whole 17 weeks to announce we were having a baby again! After our unexpected miscarriage in September we learned that you can loose a baby at any time and we wanted to make sure that this baby was healthy, strong, and alive!
We couldn't believe it when she told us that it was a boy. I honestly thought the baby was a boy but I wanted a boy so bad that I was afraid I was just thinking it and didn't want to be disappointed. Gabriel was in shock and kept asking are you positive it is a boy! haha
