We have tried to go camping for the past two years! We would pick a weekend and something has always seemed to happen. I am not a huge fan of camping but Gabriel loves it and I knew the girls would too. So we decided to go Easter weekend on Thursday since Gabriel had Friday off and we thought less people would be there.....well that weekend it decided to go back to winter and of course we were on the only ones out there. I am not sure how cold it got that night but at least in the low 40's if not colder.
However I did come prepared and we were loaded down with blankets and it really wasn't that cold in the tent. The girls had no idea what camping was but they sure were excited!
Our site had a really pretty view of the lake but the cliff did make me a little nervous but we survived!
Like I said it was a little chilly...
So we forgot the tote with all the girls snacks and goodies but luckily the foil dinners were in the ice chest which we didn't forget! Violet LOVED dinner!
Brigitte was so excited to go on "vacation" with the dogs!
